The 360º Product Safety Review

The Norwex team uses a robust ingredient and formula analysis that evaluates each ingredient, formula, and biodegradability. There are 3 pillars to our safety review process.

Toxicological
Evaluation

Each ingredient and formula is reviewed for any toxicological potential, and we use the precautionary principle to guide this evaluation- this rules out many ingredients that have a high potential of harm.

Global Regulatory
Assessment

We research each ingredient and formula against global regulatory agencies like Europe’s REACH, European Union Cosmetics Directive, US EPA, and OekoTex list.

Rigorous
Testing

Our testing allows us to confidently say our products are absolutely clean- Norwex Clean. We never stop evaluating, researching and innovating to bring you products you can trust. It’s our mission and our passion.

We have banned more than 2,700 questionable substances from our product development process.

Norwex Recycled Microfibre Yarn

Norwex Recycled Microfibre Yarn Many of our microfibre products are made from 50%-91% recycled microfibre yarn, saving more than 12 million plastic bottles from the landfill.

Healing Play, Inc., Project: Fairy Wonderland Park
A place where children of all ages and abilities can engage in truly enchanted play. “Forever Fairies” are beloved children whose families want them to be remembered with a one-of-a-kind character, and their child’s story is preserved through a website tribute page. The Norwex Foundation for a Brighter Future donated $20,000 to Fairy Wonderland Park, nominated by Senior Executive Sales Leader Alison Ennenga.
Victory Junction
Children with chronic medical conditions or serious illnesses get life-changing camp experiences that are exciting, fun and empowering. Campers have come from all 50 states and around the world. It’s a welcome break for children who spend most of their year involved with medical treatments or countless hospital visits. The Norwex Foundation donated $15,000 to Victory Junction, nominated by Sales Consultant Lara Lockwood.
Foster Village Peoria
Many parents foster for less than a year and cite lack of support as the reason they stop. 85% of people who aren’t foster parents say they care about vulnerable children and want to help. Foster Village Peoria bridges the gap between foster families and those who want to contribute. The Norwex Foundation donated to $10,000 to Foster Village Peoria, nominated by Team Coordinator Cheriz Kunkel.
