Grout is very porous and should be cleaned with minimal water. Avoid using vinegar or acid-based cleaners, especially on unsealed grout, as they can dissolve grout’s top layer.
Never use oil-based or wax-based cleaners on grout, as the grout can absorb them, leaving a sticky film that can attract more dirt.
