Slip-resistant vs. Slip-proof

• Slip-resistant backing is a rubberized materials with tread patterns that can better grip the surface it is placed on and greatly decreases the risk of slippage when used properly.
• Slip-proof backing, typically used in medical and industrial settings, includes a very flat, “sticky” surface or suction cups to prevent any movement at all.
This mat has been tested and is considered to be SLIP-RESISTANT. Follow the tips above and USE CAUTION when using this mat on any wet or super-slippery surfaces like marble, ceramic or highly coated surfaces.
Caring for microfiber

• Slightly dirty microfiber can be washed with Norwex Dishwashing Liquid under warm running water and used again before laundering. Rinse thoroughly after washing and air or machine dry.
• Mats that have been used heavily should be laundered using a Norwex laundry detergent, which contains no fillers.
• Wash dirty microfiber with a Norwex laundry detergent and avoid bleach, fabric softeners and dryer sheets.

• In addition to wet feet, poorly fitting shower curtains are one of the biggest causes of water on the bathroom floor. To minimize the likelihood of wet floors and possible injuries, use a non-PVC shower curtain liner that falls inside the tub in addition to the decorative curtain on the outside. Also, keep a slip-resistant mat by the shower or bath—preferably one that absorbs moisture and stays in place on the floor!
